Duck Rescue Home Page
The last update to these pages is a Java demonstration of a shot gun in action.
This is a wounded hardhead
euthanased by duck rescuers at Bool Lagoon after shooters failed to
retrieve it. The smashed beak is the result of a single shotgun pellet.
Had the duck not been caught, this and other injuries would have
guaranteed a miserable death.
Each year in Australia there are many hundreds of thousands of ducks left maimed and wounded by duck shooters. These WEB pages will help you gain detailed information to enable you to effectively lobby to stop this barbarism.
